Aquastrian

Aquastrian is a one-of-a-kind original drawing created for my Pop Manga coloring book series and displayed during my Nurtured by Nature solo show, a series exploring gentleness, protection, and the quiet bond between mythical beings and the natural world. This piece reimagines a kelpie — part ocean creature, part land guardian — captured in a moment of calm strength and graceful balance.

Rendered in delicate pencil linework, Aquastrian feels both playful and serene, embodying the idea of a creature shaped by care rather than conflict. Like the rest of the Nurtured by Nature works, she reflects a world where imagination and empathy guide growth.
