Beaver Statues

Living in Canada I can’t help but love beavers! These three cuties are an adorable furry family that you can bring home to add some adorableness to your home. Beavers play crucial roles in nature by constructing dams and lodges that create wetland habitats, fostering biodiversity and serving as water storage. Their engineering activities also contribute to water filtration, erosion control, and the alteration of landscapes, influencing ecosystem dynamics in significant ways.

These beautiful beasties are statues from my “Nurtured by Nature” 2023 soloshow installation. Each is made of resin, hand painted white white enamel paint. They are one of a kind and a part of my show history!

My "Nurtured by Nature" solo show's installation vividly depicts the dire consequences of neglecting the planet's well-being, warning of a future where vibrant landscapes are replaced by motionless statues symbolizing the once-beautiful beings that graced our world. The pristine white hue of these statues, reminiscent of ancient Greek sculptures, emphasizes a distant era and the civilizations lost, surrounded by a monochromatic forest representing the starkness following environmental indifference.
